Reconnect with Nature
Restore balance and wellbeing through guided forest therapy sessions. Experience peaceful moments in nature to refresh your mind and body.
What is Forest Therapy?
Take a breath, slow down and let nature be your therapist.
'Shinrin-yoku' or 'forest bathing' originated in Japan and can be defined as relaxing in nature through using all our senses to engage with our immediate natural environment. It may involve slow movement and periods of stillness and quiet.
Forest therapy moves our focus away from ‘doing’ to allowing ourselves permission to just ‘being’. When was the last time you rested, let your mind wander without judgement? People often report feeling better for being out in nature, maybe your mind is clearer or a solution to a problem just appears with minimal effort.
Modern western society focuses on being ‘productive’, so we often squeeze as much ‘doing’ into our days as humanly possible and wonder why we feel stressed, burnt out or disconnected from ourselves. Sound familiar? Forest therapy allows us to reconnect with ourselves through deepening our connection with our natural world.
